Chris White
Chris is the Head Coach and founder of GoRun. He’s got ginger hair, loves ice cream, chocolate and of course running. He was born in Newcastle, UK and has lived in the USA, Switzerland, Belgium and Australia. Chris combines his 10 years of public health work with his love of running and coaching. He has worked with charities including the Wings for Life Foundation, Jean Hailes for Women, Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute on their running projects and fundraising. He raised $20,000 for the Baker Institute by running 17 marathons around Australia. He also completed Australia’s longest triathlon, ‘Ultraman Australia’ coming 7th overall. To date Chris has completed over 35 marathons and run ultra distance trail running events of up to 100km.
Chris is a big believer in the power of coaching, no matter where a runner is at in their running journey. He has coached people to run their first 5km, fastest parkrun, first 100km ultra and marathon personal bests. He enjoys coaching athletes who are keen to learn, have a sense of humour and are committed to finding solutions instead of excuses.
